Warren awards 3 Scholarships to Franklin Early Childhood
On December 16th 2010, three Project Sparrow Scholarships were awarded to: Pre-Kindergarten – Isabella Betancur, Kindergarten – Leila Flores,First Grade – Benjamin Meringoff. The receipients of the award attend Hewlett Woodmere Union Free School District: Franklin Early Childhood Center. In attendance at the ceremony was Bonnie Epstein- Principal, Andrea Lev – School Social Worker, teachers and parents.
During the ceremony Andrea Lev, read out loud and proud about each student on how amazing and deserving each child is. Warren mentions that’ “It was very touching and I felt very proud and honored to be awarding the children with their certificate and karate uniform”. It was a very special day for all in attendance and everyone was very excited and proud.
